Checked & Clear

About

Checked & Clear looks at supplements sold straight to the buyer — the ones you won't find on a shelf in Boots or Holland & Barrett, only on the brand's own website.

Those products usually get reviewed in one of two ways: a page that repeats the brand's own marketing, or a page that calls everything a scam. Neither helps you decide. We do a third thing.

What we actually do

We don't take a view on whether a supplement will work for you. A website can't know that, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling.

Who writes it

Checked & Clear is a one-person site, written and run from Brazil. There's no team and no office — which is also why every page carries the date it was checked, so you can see how fresh it is.

How it's paid for

Some links here are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a commission and the price you pay is exactly the same. It's the only way the site makes money, and it's why we date our prices and read the refund terms: a reader who feels misled doesn't come back. See the affiliate disclosure for the full version.

Not medical advice

Nothing here is medical advice. Supplements aren't medicines and can't treat, cure or prevent illness. If you take medication or have a condition, speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting anything new.

If we got something wrong

Tell us. Prices change, terms get rewritten, formulas get reformulated. Reader or brand, email us and we'll check it and correct the page: contact@checkedandclear.com.
